NIAGARA FALLS AMERICANS SEASON RECAP
Niagara Falls, NY- The Niagara Falls Americans closed out their inaugural season at Sal Maglie Stadium the end of July. The Americans had success on the field and off the field in the community.
As the season kicked off the Americans staff walked in the Niagara Falls Little League Parade. Niagara Falls Americans hosted a special meet & greet before the season started at the Wegmans on Military Road for local shoppers, signing autographs, and taking photos with fans. Apollo, the Americans mascot, made his debut at Kalfas Elementary in May at the schools Walk-A-Thon. Throughout the season the Americans hosted over 400 youth baseball & softball buddies during the year playing catch pre-game before games at Sal Malgie Stadium. The Americans participated in Challenger Division Baseball for an incredible day as player & coach buddies, assisting players with physical and intellectual challenges throughout the day.
The Niagara Falls teamed up with over 14 non-profits or charity organizations helping spread awareness and raise funds for their causes. Sunday June 30th the Americans teamed up with Heart, Love, & Soul for a canned food drive. July 7th the American Cancer Society hosted a special night at the ball park to help spread awareness. Friday July 12th was Native American Heritage Night presented by Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. On July 19th the Americans hosted Super Hero night in partnership with Fantastic Friends of WNY, a social organization for individuals of all abilities. Sunday July 21st was Military Appreciation Night with all Veterans receiving free tickets to the game. July 26th fans who donated pet food or items received free entry with all proceeds benefiting the Niagara SPCA.
The Americans gear up for their 2nd season at Sal Maglie stadium in 2025. Sal Maglie will be host to D’youville & SUNY Niagara baseball for the fall. Season tickets for the Niagara Falls Americans start at just $99.
